This is the first wine I ever made. Don Pietro rosso.
But 2016 is a particularlyfine wine…not just because it’s good wine, but because it captures my idea of what Don Pietro rosso really is.
What qualities do you need,to be called Don Pietro?
Born in ’27? Not only…
A lover of sports? Important but not enough…
A father who passed on great principles.
And in a glass: earth, elegance, a genuine wit, intriguing and truly seductive, and without all of this, you cannot be a Don Pietro rosso.
Don Pietro non è solo un vino ma è la mollache ci ha fatto nascere come produttori di bottiglie di vino biologico, è la mollacheche ci ha trasmesso la tenacia per produrre anno dopo anno senza fare sconti a nessuno ed è la consapevolezza.
Ci conoscono per lui ed incontro tanta gente che conosceva lui è quindi lunga vita a Don Pietro.
Don Pietro is not just a wine. Don Pietro is the catalyst which lead to us becoming wine producers, it gives us the determination to produce wine year on year and it is also knowledge.
It is because of him that people know us…I still meet many people who knew him, so long live Don Pietro.
