Siriki, the bright star of a simple philosophy lesson
Siriki, the bright star of a simple philosophy lesson

During these last days we have been writing a lot about what it actually means for us drinking wines made from Virzì grapes, even after many years, and this is because we strongly believe that every land has its own story to tell, both to us and to the land that surrounds it.

We have written and talked a lot about how much we can discuss about different vintages, of vinification in concrete tanks, no use of sulfur dioxide to keep intact the main characteristics of our wines.

We have been thinking a lot about climate change, reading studies and planning our work in the Vineyard, planting according to the land needs, and then transfer all this attentions in all our bottles.

We decided to deepen our knowledge bottling a Syrah, son of simple grape pressing, that could tell his story to all the other bottles, as a common denominator for the ones who drink all our wines.

Siriki Syrah, that’s the name, will have a close brother, Siriki Grillo, the strange one, they will be a Virgil for all our production in order to overcome all those barriers between drinking wine and drinking wine wisely.
